Covenant Christian School participates in competitions through ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools). Academic competitions provide students with a healthy perspective of hard work, diligence, and excellence while nurturing the academic gift God has placed within them. Throughout the year students are presented with the opportunity to compete in the following events. ​

​ACSI MATH OLYMPICS 
Students in 3rd through 6th grades are eligible to try out for Math Olympics.  The Math Olympics team competes in Computation and Reasoning categories at the ACSI District Event. Those who score in the top 25th percentile in their category in our district move on to the Area Math Olympics competition.  

ACSI SPELLING BEE 
Spelling Bee is for students in the 1st through 6th grades that are selected by their teachers to compete. 

SPEECH MEET
Students in 1st through 6th grade are eligible to try out for the annual ACSI Speech Meet. Dependent on grade level, students are presented with an opportunity to compete in Bible memorization, fables and folklore, poetry, and many others.
